The Latest Technologies To Help Enhance Your Health
At Santé Chiropractic, we strive to bring you cutting-edge technologies that will help you optimize your health. Used in conjunction with regular chiropractic visits, you can reap the rewards of enhanced well-being.
Before we ever offer anything to the public, we undergo extensive research to ensure these technologies and therapies are safe, effective and beneficial.
These options are some of the most advanced on the market:
Low-Level Laser Therapy
LLLT can help with myriad conditions from arthritis and TMJ to headaches, fibromyalgia, pinched nerves and rheumatoid arthritis. This technology helps cells to heal by using light and laser diodes to eradicate tissues that are inflamed or damaged. Known to be safe, without side-effects, this type of laser therapy is a good choice in addition to regular chiropractic care.
Your cells are vital to every function of your body. Their energy is connected to everything you do! Enhancing cell energy is what PEMF Therapy does. For instance, if you’ve had a long day at work, you know your energy is depleted. Now think of using a “battery charger” for your cells (must like you do with your cell phone) that will gently and safely emit low level electromagnetic pulses that go deeply into your muscles, bones and tendons, helping them to relax and rejuvenate. It’s like a subtle yet deep cell massage!
You are born with a unique set of genes, and you can learn to leverage your genes for optimal well-being. Santé Chiropractic’s personalized wellness offerings go a step further to help you optimize your health by pinpointing your unique set of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) with genetic testing. No matter your age, you can use PureGenomics to help you understand, prevent and ease chronic conditions by building a customized nutrition and lifestyle plan that works with your body.
Insight Subluxation Neuro Technologies—CoreScore
“We Don’t Guess, We Test”
Most chiropractors use technology that can measure the function of the nervous system. The most commonly used technologies are the:
Thermal Scan —This instrument monitors skin temperature to assess autonomic nervous system function. Temperature indicates where there is dysregulation in the autonomic nervous system and how it can affect organ function. For organs to properly do their job, optimal nerve communication is needed. Determining whether or not there is nerve interference can play an important role in understanding and planning a health strategy.
Surface Electromyography (sEMG) —This highly-researched tool evaluates the communication between your nervous system and the muscles that support and move your spine. These muscles are controlled by the nerves alongside them. The test measures how much energy is needed to maintain posture and the distribution of energy throughout the muscles. A low score can indicate that too much energy is being used because the spine is out of balance. It can also indicate that stress is overworking the muscles. A surface EMG can help measure the progress made after a series of adjustments.
Pulse Wave Profiler —This instrument helps determine your overall ability to adapt to your environmental stressors. A Pulse Wave Profiler is used to collect Heart Rate Variability (HRV) data and monitor the balance and activity of the entire autonomic nervous system. A high heart rate variability indicates good adaptability, whereas a constantly low heart rate variability is an indicator of accelerated aging and poor heart health.
A neural efficiency score called COREscore can give an accurate index to report from. It is collected from the surface EMG, the paraspinal thermal scans and Heart Rate Variability (identify how much resiliency and reserve a patient has left and how balanced the entire autonomic nervous system is) to give an accurate snapshot of how chronic stress is affecting a patient’s overall health. The COREscore uses validated, peer-reviewed technologies so chiropractors can rely upon this index to report the damaging effects of the subluxation as well as the incredible power that adjustments and lifestyle modifications have in moving a patient towards wellness.
